Before practicing as a barrister, Eliza worked as a social worker for over 10 years. Eliza has extensive experience in handling cases related to children and families. She has practical experience in crisis management, including cases of child abuse, domestic violence and mental illness.

Eliza commenced her practice in 2017. She joined the Harcourt Chambers after completing pupillage with Mr. John Reading SC, Mr. Jeevan Hingorani, Ms. Frances Irving, Mr. Eugene Yim and Mr. Jeffrey Tam.

She is developing a broad civil and criminal practice, with a keen interest in matrimonial law. She deals with all aspects of matrimonial law. She has experience in ancillary relief cases and children matters. She has advised and represented in child custody disputes, applications under the Guardianship of Minors Ordinance, Wardship, third party interests and cases involving jurisdiction disputes.

Eliza accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work and mediation cases.
